New Channel!
We just made a new Tale0fthetape channel! We're going to be posting mainly highlight reels on it but we might end up expanding it into different things :). Big thanks to our friend Mike for this one, you may not see him on the prediction videos but he does a lot of stuff behind the scenes to help with the channel and to be honest he has done most of the work for the first highlight reel video so we feel bad taking all the credit :P Check it out here and subscribe if you want to. http://www.youtube.com/user/Tale0fTheTapeHL

Who is the best Pound for Pound fighter in MMA Today?
In recent years this has always been a tough question. When MMA started to grow in America there were a few names which stood out, Royce Gracie, Dan Severn, Ken Shamrock, Mark Coleman. Then of course there was arguably (and in my opinion) the best MMA fighter of all time Fedor Emelianenko although as seen in his last two fights "The Last Emperor's" reign may be coming to an end.
More recently with the huge expansion of the sport in the west the question has become more difficult. In the beginning most fighter's had a specialty (like wrestling, boxing or BJJ) and once they were taken away from that discipline they were in a world of trouble. But now with every MMA fighter having to be prepared for any eventuality the line between disciplines has become much more blurred. Still however a few names crop out. Sherdog.com named their top three this year as:
1. Georges St-Pierre
2. Anderson Silva
3.Jose Aldo
I believe that these three names could be arranged in any order and not cause much controversy. no one can doubt the Striking prowess of Silva and Aldo nor the well-roundedness of St-Pierre but putting them in an order is very difficult. Each has been tested in different ways in recent fights. Silva against Sonnen, Aldo against Hominick and St-Pierre against Jake Shields but for me i think i would place them as:
1. Anderson Silva
2.Georges St-Pierre
3. Jose Aldo
Of course everyone has their own opinion and i have made a poll on the right hand side of the blog for you to give your opinion or you can just comment on this post.
In the future I think however that one name may shine through. Jon Jones. Admittedly he has not been tested on how he retains his title but his dominance of Mauricio Rua was plain to see which is incredible for someone at such a young age (23) and i can only see him improving in years to come. We will have to wait and see but I believe that in years to come he may be looked back at as the Greatest MMA fighter of All-time.
